Twilight Zone

This week was totally insane...but I survived...yay!

Amanda & Darren have come and gone...had a great time with them, although I only really got to hang out with them in the evenings, usually for dinner. But, we got to show Darren some of the great food in this city: The Eatery (sushi), Memphis Blues (LOL...lots of meat/pork/southern cuisine), and the Boathouse (AMAZING seafood, especially the salmon...nice view over English Bay too). It was definitely good to see Amanda again...

So Friday night, Tony finally decided to call me back...I'd say it's been 3 weeks to a month...but whatever. We just grabbed some appies & beer at a Boston pizza and chatted for a bit...so not interested, but it seemed like he's too busy with his promotion at work to really want anything either right now...so all is good.

Last night was by far the most surreal. The morning was pretty relaxed, cleaning & going to Pilates, then boxing class with Daniel...then I got a phone call saying that 3 friends were going to try & get into the Destiny's Child concert - the last show on the tour, and they're last tour as a group! So exciting...anyways, myself & Anjou got in, with Steph & Ginny saying that they were gonna get tickets eventually, so we went in, but they never did :(

The concert was AMAZING...they're so talented - sounded great live, looked great in person, and they were so sweet - I guess it was a pretty emotional night for them too...

After, I met up with Daniel & a couple that he knew from Scotland who were in town - Ewen & Leanne. They were really nice & Ewen had gone to school with Daniel during his undergrad, so the stories were great :P
Anyways, all of a sudden we were back to being bf/gf...and well, I think its pretty safe to say that we are together again :D
